1. NOT FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVICE: TickerCal and all associated content, calendar feeds, emails, and data are provided strictly for informational and educational purposes only. TickerCal is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, financial analyst, or tax professional. Nothing on this website or in its calendar feeds constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, endorsement, or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, or financial instrument.
2. NO GUARANTEE OF DATA ACCURACY OR TIMELINESS: Corporate events—including earnings announcement dates, conference call times, dividend declaration dates, ex-dividend dates, dividend payout dates, and stock splits—are aggregated from third-party public feeds (including Yahoo Finance) and automated algorithms. Corporate schedules frequently change, are delayed, or represent unconfirmed estimates. TickerCal makes no warranty regarding the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or reliability of any data.
3. ASSUMPTION OF TRADING RISK: You are solely responsible for verifying corporate dates and earnings schedules directly with official company investor relations announcements and regulatory filings (e.g. SEC EDGAR filings) before placing any trades. Under no circumstances shall TickerCal, its owners, or affiliates be liable for any trading losses, missed earnings calls, dividend discrepancies, option expirations, or other financial damages arising from reliance on our service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using TickerCal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions set forth herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.
2. User Accounts & Secret Subscription Feeds
To use TickerCal, you must register using a valid email address and maintain a secure password. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information during registration.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or security breaches involving your account.
Calendar Feed URL Secrecy
Your personal calendar subscription URL contains a secret access token (`/api/calendar/[token]/feed.ics`). Anyone with this link can view the stock events in your watchlist. You must treat this URL like a password. If your URL is ever compromised or publicly exposed, you can rotate it immediately via the Settings menu.
3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Attempting to scrape, mass-harvest, or reverse-engineer TickerCal’s APIs, databases, or event aggregation pipelines.
- Using automated bots, spiders, or scripts to flood our search or calendar endpoints.
- Interfering with, disrupting, or attempting to compromise the security or integrity of our servers and third-party hosting providers.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially redistributing TickerCal calendar feeds without prior written consent.
- Using the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
4. Service Availability & Modification
We strive to provide reliable, high-uptime calendar feeds. However, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, or secure.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, endpoint, or part of the Service at our discretion, with or without prior notice.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TICKERCAL, ITS CREATORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF TRADING CAPITAL, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN ALL EVENTS, TICKERCAL’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO TICKERCAL IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $50 USD IF YOU HAVE USED THE SERVICE FREE OF CHARGE).
6. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TickerCal and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
7. Termination & Account Cancellation
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting support@tickercal.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or revoke calendar subscription feeds immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update or revise these Terms periodically. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of TickerCal after any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the modified Terms.
